The Local Food Consultants
The Local Food Consultants Cooperative (f3) provides market research, business planning and consultancy services to develop sustainable local food systems. Its work includes strategic planning, research, feasibility studies and business planning, training for producers and support organisations, and the facilitation of collaborative approaches. f3 is a Community Interest Company comprising 18 leading experts with UK and international experience. These experts are all 'veterans' of the local food movement directly involved in real projects, ranging from managing farmer's markets to running a micro-brewery. f3 provides research, business planning and consultancy services in the following domains: a) enterprise support and business planning, b) local food distribution and food hubs, c) IT and e-commerce, d) public sector strategies and action plans, and e) community food initiatives.
